These Light and Tasty Swimsuit Friendly Recipes are my go to list when the holidays are over and I need to do some damage control.  I don’t want to be caught like a deer in headlights when Summer rolls around and I haven’t done anything to get in any kind of shape. Let’s keep our New Year’s resolutions this year! I keep thinking “It is still FREEZING outside… I have PLENTY of time to get ready for Summer!”. This is the dangerous thought-trap I get into every year around this time. More times than not I end up doing nothing and find myself crash dieting a week before our first lake trip (am I the only one who does this?).

I have a good 5-6 months before I need to attempt squeezing into that swimsuit so I am going to start NOW! Who’s with me? I could use all the help and motivation I can get. Feel free to comment below with any helpful, motivational tips or advice. I am open to it ALL! Until then, here are some Light and REALLY Tasty Swimsuit Friendly Recipes to make losing weight less tedious. Instead of picking up a pizza for dinner or throwing together that 9,000-calorie-per-serving casserole — lighten up and try one of these recipes!

    Thank you so much! I’m trying so hard to eat low calorie foods right now. Using a calorie counter app (Lose it) and now you’ve given me some great new recipes to try!!

      I use lose it too, I love it so much. My friend asked me to try MyFitnessPal and I did but it is just not as easy to use and navigate as Lose It. I recommend it to everyone.

    You can do it! I, too, am attempting to lose weight and get in shape for bathing suit season. And I’ve been working really hard at it. Of course, the most difficult task: cutting back on food. I LOVE food. I’ve been working out since November, which is unbelievable since I’ve never joined a gym or anything like that in my entire life. And I tried dieting for a bit, but gave up after about a month. I just started dieting again, and in two weeks, I lost 7 pounds, just by working out and eating better! So, I guess what I’m trying to say is, if this gym-hating, food-guzzling queen can do it, so can you!! Thanks for sharing these delicious recipes! I needed a few more to add to my diet! Keep us updated with your progress!
