If you’re still craving holiday sweets, but want something a little healthier, try our Orange Pineapple Banana Smoothie! It is so sweet and fruity, and SO easy to make. It took me less than 5 minutes to throw this smoothie together and it made a perfect breakfast! We got a box of fresh oranges for Christmas and I have been DYING to throw them in the blender! They are so sweet and juicy! When you peel the orange, make sure to get as much of the skin off as possible so the smoothie is, for lack of a better word….smoother. I always feel so yucky after eating all the holiday sweets that come to our house and drinking a fresh smoothie just makes me feel so much better! It is a nice change to all the heavy, winter recipes. I like to keep frozen fruit on hand for smoothies in the morning. You can even bag up the ingredients ahead of time in a gallon ziplock bag and stick it in the freezer until you are ready to make it (leave out the orange juice and add it when you are ready to blend). This recipe makes five cups, which is about three servings, depending on how big you like your smoothies.
