You may have tried Skookie Sundaes at your favorite restaurant (sometimes they are called “Pizookies” or “Skillet Cookie Sundaes”)- and now you can make them at home! I love making these when I am craving a dessert but I’m not in the mood to spend a lot of time baking. Once you’ve made the cookie base, you can use your imagination to create an indulgent dessert with a variety of toppings. You can use a Skookie Cast-Iron Skillet Set or a small soufflé dish or a mini pizza pan.
Preheat oven 375 degrees. Press the cookie dough down in a small cast iron skillet (if you don't have one of these, you can also use a small souffle dish or a mini deep-dish pizza pan). Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until dough is golden-brown. Top with 3-4 scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel topping, nuts, and chocolate shavings. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
