Looking for a fun Easter treat? These White Chocolate Nests with Macadamia Nuts are crunchy and delicious. You can get creative and decorate them with your favorite Easter candies like jelly beans, pastel M&M’s, or my personal favorite, Mini Cadbury Eggs. Then add some cute Peeps Bunnies or Chicks to make them even more fun. My kids loved playing with these and pretending that they were the little Peeps houses and that they were laying eggs. This is a great recipe to make with children during the Easter holiday season.
I have made chocolate and peanut butter versions of these little bird nests, but this version of white chocolate macadamia nut nests is, in my opinion, by far the best! I love the combo of coconut and macadamia nuts with white chocolate, it reminds me of Hawaii. They are so cute and extremely easy to make!
White Chocolate Nests with Macadamia Nuts
Pour the white chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave on low, stirring frequently.
Once the chips are melted, add the chow mein noodles, coconut, and nuts. Stir until everything is well coated in the white chocolate. Spoon out large sections and shape into nests onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
In the middle of the nests add your Jelly Beans, M&M's, or Cadbury Eggs. Refrigerate until chocolate is hardened.
