Chocolate Covered Bananas

Ingredients

Optional Toppings

  • white chocolate chips melted
  • crushed peanuts
  • toasted coconut

Instructions

  • Insert a popsicle stick into the thicker end of each banana half. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Freeze for at least 2 hours.

  • Melt chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir well between each interval. If you want a thinner chocolate coating, add in the coconut oil and stir well.

  • Dip each banana into the chocolate and swirl it around to remove any excess.

  • Roll in toppings while the chocolate is still wet. Place on a lined baking sheet.

  • Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature. Once the chocolate sets, enjoy!
