Our creamy pineapple whip is the perfect topping for Angel Food Cake. It's delicious with fresh strawberries, but you can top it with any fresh fruit.

Prepare angel food cake.
While cake is baking, whip heavy cream with electric mixer until peaks form. Add vanilla and sugar, then set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine crushed pineapple with pudding powder. Stir well. Combine pineapple mixture with whipped cream using a large spoon or spatula until well mixed.
You can either top the entire cake with the pineapple whip or serve on individual plates.
Top with sliced strawberries. Dust with powdered sugar.
*The juice in the crushed pineapple is needed as the liquid for mixing the vanilla pudding. No not drain the can.
*Bananas, mandarin oranges, raspberries, or blackberries can also be used in place of, or in addition to, the fresh strawberries in this recipe.
