Ingredients

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillets uncooked, cut into 1 inch pieces (leftover cooked salmon or canned salmon can also be used)
  • ½ cup Panko bread crumbs plain or lemon pepper seasoned for added flavor
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 large egg white

For a Salmon Burger

Instructions

  • Mix salmon, bread crumbs, basil, and salt.

  • Add egg white and mix well.

  • Divide the mixture into four even parts, and form into patties. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat until browned on both sides.

  • Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and condiments.
