  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place ground beef and pork in a large bowl. Stir breadcrumbs and flour into the meat. Set aside.
  • Saute onion, garlic, red pepper and carrot in oil over medium heat until they become soft.
  • In a medium-sized bowl combine eggs with milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Add egg and milk mixture, sauteed veggies, and 1/2 cup ketchup to the meat. Use a wooden spoon to stir it all together, or put on a pair of kitchen gloves and knead it together with your hands. Press the mixture into a meatloaf pan or a large loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes, then spread additional ketchup over the top of the loaf to taste, then bake for another hour.

  • Let it sit for a few minutes, then slice and serve!
