Ingredients

  • 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1 box white or yellow Jiffy cake mix or 1 1/2 cups
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts optional
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • Whipping cream or vanilla ice cream optional

Instructions

  • Pour cherries in a deep dish pan.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cake mix, cinnamon, and nuts. Spread evenly over cherries.
  • Cut butter into small pieces and place evenly over cake mix.
  • Microwave on high for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with whipping cream or ice cream.
