Ingredients

Asphalt Pie

  • 24 OREO cookies, crushed
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1.5 quarts mint chocolate chip ice cream

Instructions

Asphalt Pie

  • In a small bowl, mix crushed cookies and melted butter. Stir until combined.
    Crushed Oreos and melted butter for Grasshopper Pie crust.
  • Press the crust into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.

  • Fill with ice cream. Cover and freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.
    Mint chocolate chip ice cream for smoothed into the Grasshopper Pie crust.

Salted Caramel Topping

  • Heat the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly and scraping the bottom, until the sugar has melted into an amber liquid, about 5 minuites.

  • Once the sugar has melted, add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the cream. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in sea salt.

Whipped Cream

  • Using an electric mixer, beat cream, and powdered sugar until they form stiff peaks.

  • Remove the pie from the freezer. Drizzle caramel topping over each slice and add whipped cream.
