Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  • Place the wire rack that comes with the Instant Pot in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  • Add 12 (or up to 18) raw eggs on top of the wire rack.  It is ok to stack them.
  • This is the 5-5-5 method for Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs.
  • Pressure cook for 5 minutes on high.
  • Slow release pressure for 5 minutes then release all pressure.
  • Remove eggs and place them in an ice-water bath for 5 minutes.
  • Peel immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

You can stack up to 18 eggs in the Instant Pot at a time with 1 cup of water.
