Equipment

  • Large Sauce Pan

Ingredients

For Peach Syrup

  • 4-5 peaches
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar divided

For Peach Lemonade

  • 5 lemons
  • 4 cups cold water or to taste
  • ice
  • mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Peel peaches, remove pits, and slice. Add to a large saucepan with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Peaches, water, and sugar in a large pot
  • Boil for about 5-6 minutes. Mash peaches with a potato masher for about a minute. While the peaches are cooking, juice the lemons.
Peach syrup in a large pot
  • Place a sieve over a bowl and pour peach mixture into the sieve a little at a time, allowing the juices to drain into the bowl. Use a large spoon to help mash the juices through. Once you have gotten all the juice through, discard the remaining peach pulp.
