These Sweet Teriyaki Grilled Ham Steaks are perfect for if you are craving cooked ham, but don’t want to purchase a huge spiral ham. The sweet teriyaki glaze is tangy and delicious and super easy to make. You will love the little pieces of pineapple mixed in to every bite!

  • Outdoor Barbecue Grill


  • Turn barbecue grill burners on high with the lid down to heat up.
  • In a small sauce pan over medium heat, mix together the teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and crushed pineapple. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch with 2 Tbsp cold water, then whisk the mixture in with your saucepan over the stove. Bring the sauce to a boil, then remove from heat when it begins to thicken.
  • Place ham steaks on grill. They only need a few minutes on each side, just long enough to make nice grill marks. Glaze each side before turning with the teriyaki mixture. Remove from the grill to a serving plate and top with the remaining sauce.
