This Wassail recipe makes a delicious Wassail mix to add to water for a quick hot citrus drink on cold days. You will love the orange and lemon flavors with a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz dry Tang powder
  • 2 pkgs lemonade Kool-Aid dry, the kind you add sugar to
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add 1/2 cup of the Tang and the 2 tsp vanilla. Mix well.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until everything is evenly distributed. Store in an airtight container.

  • To serve: Mix 2-3 heaping spoonfuls into a mug of hot water and stir.
