Instructions

Basic Cookie Mix

  • Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda. Stir until well mixed.

  • Using a pastry cutter, a fork, or your hands, add in shortening until well-combined and crumbly.

For Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Combine cookie mix, milk, vanilla, and egg. Stir until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Roll dough into balls and place evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 9 minutes, or until lightly browned. Makes 24 cookies

For Peanut Butter Cookies

  • Combine cookie mix, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter. Stir until well combined.

  • Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place evenly on a greased baking sheet. Use a fork to flatten the dough balls making a criss cross pattern.

  • Bake on a greased baking sheet at 375 for 9 minutes, or until lightly browned. Makes 24 cookies.

For Snickerdoodles

  • Combine cookie mix, egg, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Stir until well combined.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small dish. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll dough balls in cinnamon sugar mixture and place evenly on a greased baking sheet.

  • Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned with cracked tops. Makes 12 cookies.

For Banana Coconut Delights

  • Combine cookie mix, coconut, banana, vanilla, and egg. Stir until well combined. Fold in pecans and oats.
