Lettuce Wrap Sauce

  • Combine teriyaki sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
    A glass measuring cup of dark brown sauce
  • Heat the sauce in a small saucepan. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and divide into 3 small bowls.

  • In one bowl, add about 1/4 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce (or more to taste) and mix well. In the other bowl, add 1-2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (or to taste), and mix until creamy and smooth.

  • Serve over lettuce wraps.

Notes

Other Sauce Variations:
  • Asian-style BBQ sauce – ½ cup hoisin sauce + low-sodium soy sauce or water added until desired consistency is reached
  • Spicy Oyster Sauce – Oyster sauce + Sriracha (to taste)
