The BEST Marinade for ANY Chicken Recipe
This is our favorite chicken marinade recipe. It is perfect for baked, grilled, or even shredded chicken.
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vinegar (see recipe notes below)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- kosher salt (to taste)
- ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and whisk well to combine.
- To use: Place 2-3 chicken breasts in a Ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Marinate 3+ hours or overnight.
Notes
*For a versatile chicken recipe (if you are doing grilled, baked or shredded chicken) use Apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, or white vinegar. For an Italian twist or for a bit of a deeper flavor, use balsamic vinegar.
