  • Peel onion and chop into chunks. Combine ½ cup of water and onion in a food processor or blender. Puree for 30 seconds.

  • In a large crock pot combine all the ingredients except noodles.

  • Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked. Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks. Cook the noodles according to the package directions.

  • Add the shredded chicken and cooked noodles back to the crock pot. Stir and serve. If you need to add more liquid to the soup, add a can of Swanson's chicken broth or water and season with more of the chicken bouillon granules to taste.
