  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and molasses.
  • In a different bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Slowly add to the wet ingredients while stirring. Mix until combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Remove from fridge and bring to room temperature (let it sit out for 15 minutes, or microwave for about 10 seconds).
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • On a floured surface, roll dough out to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Cut with cookie cutters and place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Decorate and enjoy!
