Orange Julius Copycat Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2-3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • about 10-11 ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a blender, blend all ingredients except ice.
  • Slowly add ice cubes one at a time until it reaches a "smoothie" consistency. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For the best texture, use orange juice concentrate that is still very cold and only slightly softened.
  • Add the ice slowly so it blends evenly and creates a frothy texture.
  • Whole milk makes the creamiest drink, but 2%, skim, or non-dairy milk can be used.
  • For a berry Orange Julius, add strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, or frozen fruit.
  • This drink is best served right away. Leftovers can be frozen into popsicles.
