Ingredients

  • 1 bag round tortilla chips or another sturdy chip that will hold the toppings without breaking
  • 2 chicken breasts grilled and cut in bite size pieces
  • 14 ounces can black beans rinsed and drained well
  • ¾ pounds cheddar cheese shredded (depending on how cheesy you like it)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ¾ cup sliced green onions
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup red salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
    Sheet pan with tortilla chip rounds.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheese over the chips trying to cover them evenly.
    Sheet pan of tortilla chips topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Evenly place chicken strips and beans over the chips.
    Sheet pan with tortilla chips topped with shredded cheese, chicken pieces and black beans.
  • Sprinkle the other half of the cheese over the chicken and beans.
    Sprinkling more cheddar cheese on top of sheet pan with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, chicken pieces and black beans.
  • Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
    Melted cheese on top of oven nachos with chicken and black beans.
  • Remove from oven and add diced tomatoes and onions. Optional to garnish with lime slices and cilantro.
