- 32 ounces frozen tater tots
- 30 ounces canned chili with beans (Homemade Chili Recipe)
- 1 1/2 cups Fritos
- 2 cups queso cheese dip (Homemade Queso Recipe)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 tablespoons sour cream
- green onions sliced, for garnish
Cook tater tots according to package directions (for extra crispy tater tots, keep baking past the recommended time until they are deep golden brown and crispy).
While tater tots are cooking, prepare the rest of the ingredients. Heat up the chili and the queso cheese and slice the green onions.
Divide the tater tots and the chili into six bowls. Top each with a few tablespoons of queso cheese.
Top each bowl with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
- Make your own chili or your own queso for a homemade touch!
- Add some tabasco or hot sauce for a little spice.
- Bake/air fry tots extra crisp; add Fritos last so they stay crunchy.
- Warm chili & queso before layering (hot toppings keep tots crisp).
- Scale with two sheet pans; hold the first at 200°F.
- Store leftover ingredients separately.
- Reheat leftovers on a sheet pan or in the air fryer to re-crisp; add fresh toppings after.
- Gluten-Free: Choose certified gluten-free tots and chili; verify labels.
