Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. I love your copycat recipes! Do you happen to have a copycat recipe for [restaurant]’s [menu item] and if not, could you figure it out for me?
A. Since there are thousands of restaurants and even more menu items out there, chances are we don’t have the specific recipe you are looking for. If you would still like to drop us a line and request for us to try to duplicate a recipe, please feel free to do so!

Q. What is a “cube” of butter?
A. You would not believe how many times we have been asked this question! A cube of the butter is ½ c. of butter, or a “stick” of butter.

Q. Can you provide me with the nutritional information for your recipes?
A. In a word.. no. However, there are many tools online that can provide you with this information. You simply have to put the ingredients of the recipe into a form and they will figure out all that for you. Try HERE or HERE.

Q. Where do you get all of your recipes?
A. Most of our recipes are truly our family’s favorite recipes that have been handed over by our mom, grandparents, aunts, cousins.. etc. Some are recipes we have found from friends and they have become our favorite recipes. Some are dishes that we have tried in restaurants and done our best to duplicate. Some are just creations that we have come up with on our own! No matter where we get our recipes, we always try to give credit where credit is due.

Q. Can I post one of your recipes on my blog?
A. Absolutely! Please feel free to share our recipes, however, we do require that you clearly link back to our site. We prefer that you take your own pictures for your post but if you are unable to please indicate on your site that the picture came from us.

Q. Can I substitute [ingredient] for [another ingredient] in your recipe?
A. Chances are, I haven’t done the substitute you are suggesting. Do substitutions at your own risk. There are no guarantees that the recipe will turn out as well if you do a substitution!
