Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp/ vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 8-9 Reese's Peanut Butter cups (use the regular size, I know in the picture we have the "mini" Reese's, but that was only because we didn't have the regular size on hand. Also, to make them easier to press in, refrigerate or freeze them for a few minutes)

Instructions

  • Cream butter, PB, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together. Blend into creamed mixture. Shape into balls and press in PB cups. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Do not overcook. (If you want to make regular PB cookies, just press with a fork and sprinkle with sugar instead of using PB cups!)

I have tried this cookie recipe and it is sooo good! My kids couldn’t stop eating them and my two year old ate 7 COOKIES at one time! Do you have any other cookie recipes?

  2. these cookies are really fun when you make them in a mini muffin tin, it really concentrates the peanut butter cookie around the reese’s cup.

  3. Great idea! Thanks! We will try that next time!

These ARE yummy! My Mother-in-law makes them in mini-muffin tins and they look so cute!

  5. I love looking at you recipe blog! You are so creative and so far everything I've tried I LOVE. Thanks!

  6. I am confused with the instructions on the regular sized Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Are they supposed to be chopped up? or is this recipe only supposed to make 8-9 cookies with 1 regular sized PB cup pressed into it? That brings up my next question – how big of balls are the cookies supposed to be?

  7. The Reeses aren't supposed to be chopped up. You can kind of flatten out the ball if needs be. The cookies are supposed to be pretty big, if you are worried about the cookies being too big you can just use the mini ones like in the picture. Good luck!!
