This Tropical Slush is DELICIOUS! It is the perfect thirst-quencher for a HOT summer’s day. Fancy it up by serving in hollowed out pineapples. This makes enough for a pretty good crowd (serves 20-24) so if you are making these for a smaller group you may want to half the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon lime sherbet
- 1/2 gallon pineapple sherbet
- 2 liters 7-up
- 6 oz. frozen pineapple juice
- 6 oz. frozen limeade
- 7 1/2 oz (1/2 can) Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut
Instructions
- Mash together until sherbet is softened and slush-like. Serve immediately.

This looks fantastic! I may try it out for a party this weekend. I just wanted to clarify…when you say frozen pineapple juice and frozen limeade, are you talking about the frozen concentrates? Just want to make sure I have the right ratios. Thank you!
What is Coco Lopez cream of coconut? this drink sounds wonderful.
It can be found in the cocktail section of the grocery store. It is used to make piña coladas.
Looks cute served in the pineapple. Is there some way to substitute the coconut? (allergies)
hmmm… you could possibly substitute with another flavor like raspberry. Or you can leave it our all together. It just adds a creaminess to it– I am sure you could leave it out!
