My friend Evelyn brought this over and it was a huge hit. My kids love it because it has no onions and I love the tangy flavor from the balsamic vinegar. Thanks Evelyn for sharing your recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 1/2 c. fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. oil (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 1/2 jalapenos, diced and seeded
- 1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. crushed garlic
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
