Easy Appetizer Recipe for Sunday’s Game
This Almond Joy Chex Mix is one of the best dessert recipes to make before a big game on Sunday! It is the perfect sweet and savory snack to munch on while cheering for a favorite team or watching hilarious commercials. Almond Joy Chex Mix also makes the perfect appetizer for get togethers or parties because it is easy to make, and it makes enough for everyone.
Fun Dessert Recipe For Family Night
When our family gets together we love to play games, especially team card games that tend to go on for hours. We always have yummy snacks while we play, and this Chex Mix is always one of our favorites. It is toasty, crunchy, savory, sweet, and addicting! Plus, I love getting little tastes of coconut, almond, and chocolate in every bite. This easy appetizer recipe is a crowd pleaser and keeps everyone coming back for more!
Better Than Pre-Made Chex Mix
This mix is so much better than any of the pre-made Chex Mix bags you can buy at the store. Plus, it is such an easy appetizer recipe that anyone can make! Chex Mix is such a great snack for feeding a big group, it fills your house with the most amazing smell while it bakes, and if you’re like me, you will probably make this easy appetizer recipe during the week as a snack for the kids too. Because it is so delicious, I also consider this Chex Mix one of my best dessert recipes too.
Almond Joy Chex Mix
Add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl. Mix together the melted butter and sweetened condensed milk and pour over the dry ingredients while mixing. Then sprinkle on the dry pudding mix while continuing to toss. Continue to mix until all the the ingredients are evenly coated.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silpat baking mat, and spread the mix evenly over the top.
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, then spread out over paper towels on the counter to cool. Here I like to sprinkle on a little extra coconut and mini chocolate chips.
When completely cool, store in an airtight container, or ziplock bag.
