Imagine the best flavors of cheesecake melted into a gorgeous and creamy fondue, perfect for dipping your favorite things. Whether for a party or just a fun after school snack, I promise everyone is going to LOVE this fondue!
Everyone has had the classic chocolate fondue, but this takes fondue to a whole new level. Creamy, lightly sweet, and a little tangy it’s truly a melted version of the best cheesecake. My favorite thing to dip is strawberries, the flavor is unmatched, kind of like strawberry cheesecake, but more fresh! My kids like dipping cookies, like Oreos or the Trader Joe’s cookie dippers, into it. You really can’t go wrong here! This is the perfect dessert to make for a gathering of friends, everyone will be so impressed! Fondue makes celebrations more magical, and cheesecake fondue adds an even more special touch.
Ingredients in Cheesecake Fondue
Gather your ingredients!
- White chocolate chips – choose any brand you like
- Butter – we only need a few tablespoons
- Cream cheese – do not use low fat or or fat-free
- Confectioner’s sugar – this is like powdered sugar but with cornstarch added to prevent caking
- Vanilla – we love a good quality vanilla, but use whatever you can get your hands on!
- Graham crackers – this will be crushed for you to either sprinkle on top of the fondue, or roll your dipped items in
What to Dip in Cheesecake Fondue
The limit is your imagination when it comes to what to dip. Some of our favorite accompaniments are: strawberries, bananas, fresh apples, fresh pears (truly any fresh fruit is so delicious), wafers, broken up waffle cones, cookies, sweet crackers, biscotti, pretzels, pound cake, marshmallows, and chocolate cookies.
Tips and Suggestions
- Use an eccentric fondue pot – An electric fondue pot will make it easier to control the temps
- Be patient – Allow it to melt slowly, this will keep the chocolate from overcooking and separating.
- Serve with graham cracker crumbs – The cheesecake fondue made at Melting Pot sprinkles graham cracker crumbs over the top of the fondue before serving, but I like to dip in the fondue and then roll in crumbs.
Chocolate Variation
Use half semisweet chocolate and half white chocolate for a chocolate cheesecake variation. If you want to go full chocolate, try our chocolate fondue recipe. With only 2 ingredients, it makes the perfect sweet tooth snack. Try serving both the chocolate fondue and the cheesecake fondue on a dessert charcuterie board, trust me, this board is life-changing.
