Instant Pots are all the rage right now, and for good reason! You can cook up just about anything in a fraction of the time you can cook something on the stove or in the oven. If you are new to Instant Pot cooking there is a little bit of a learning curve, but not to worry, all of these recipes are tried-and-true reader favorites. We walk you through each recipe so you will have success right off the bat. For all of these recipes I used a 6 Qt 7-in-1 Instant Pot but you can use any 6 or 8 Quart Instant Pot or Pressure cooker. BONUS RECIPE: Instant Pot Sweet Saucy Chicken
As a bonus, we are adding an easy and delicious Instant Pot dinner idea. It is a variation of our Easy Apricot Chicken and you are going to love it!
- Combine apricot preserves, Catalina dressing, dijon mustard, and dry onion soup mix in a small mixing bowl.
- Put 1/3 cup water in the Instant Pot. Place chicken in the water and pour apricot mixture over the top of the chicken.
- Place lid (make sure release tab is set to "sealing") and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
- Allow to natural release for additional 5 minutes.
- Quick release and remove chicken. Spoon excess sauce from the Instant Pot over the chicken before serving.
